Core Course Week: Castles, Falling on Ice and Dancing by the Cliffs

Introduction

Every core class at DIS are scheduled to go on two week-long journeys throughout the semester. Last week, my New Media and Changing Communities class journeyed across the bridge to Denmark’s eternal rival, Sweden. We also got the change to explore Northern Zealand (not to be confused with New Zealand but that’s a bit of a walk from Denmark). It is home to Hamlet’s castle and the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, a place that actually made me feel things.

Hope you enjoy this video filled with good people, laughter, lots of (free food), and some good Scandinavian sights.

  1. Hi Jez,

Come on that must be CGI – too many people smiling most of the time πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Honestly it is really nice to see how you and your fellow students are enjoying Denmark ….and Sweden. πŸ˜‰

I love watching videos of people from all over the world exploring Denmark and I have been watching lots of that on YouTube and that led me to the DIS student bloggers, so now I try to read all of them that I can.
It is very enjoyable to see my own country experienced through the stories you share – so thank you.

I hope you will keep enjoying your stay here in Denmark.

    Kind regards,
    Michael
